These terms should be read alongside your chosen tour description and written booking information.

Booking, Payments and Customer Cancellations.

Deposit and balance A deposit of 20% of the total tour price is payable when booking. This forms part of your total payment. The remaining balance is due 56 days before departure, unless a different payment schedule has been expressly agreed in writing and shown on your booking confirmation. Bookings made within 56 days of departure normally require full payment when booking. Please check your booking confirmation and contact CharlieFarleysBikeTours promptly if anything is incorrect.

Late payments. If a payment is overdue, we will contact you and provide a reasonable opportunity to pay before cancelling your booking. If we cancel because payment remains outstanding, any cancellation charge will be calculated fairly under the provisions below. If you cancel Please email your cancellation to CharlieFarleysBikeTours@gmail.com, giving your name, tour and booking reference. The cancellation date is the date we receive your notice. We will acknowledge it in writing. The following maximum charges apply to ordinary customer cancellations: • More than 56 days before departure: up to 20% of the total tour price. • Between 31 and 56 days before departure: up to 50% of the total tour price. • 30 days or fewer before departure: up to 100% of the total tour price. The amount charged will reflect our justifiable loss from the cancellation, taking account of costs saved, supplier refunds and income from reselling your place. We will take reasonable steps to reduce that loss and explain the calculation on request. Payments already received will count towards the cancellation charge. Any amount paid above the applicable charge will be refunded. If the justified charge exceeds the amount already paid, we may request payment of the difference. These charges do not apply where you have a legal right to cancel without a charge. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

Travel insurance. You must arrange suitable travel insurance when booking, including cancellation cover and cover appropriate to the motorcycle activities and destinations on your tour. Check the policy’s exclusions, riding restrictions, medical cover and repatriation arrangements with your insurer. Motorcycle insurance and breakdown cover are separate requirements where you bring your own bike. Insurance claims are subject to your insurer’s terms. We cannot guarantee that a cancellation or outstanding balance will be covered.

Tour Arrangements and Responsibilities. Who you are booking with for tours organised by CharlieFarleysBikeTours, your booking is with Judy Richter, trading as CharlieFarleysBikeTours. Contact: CharlieFarleysBikeTours@gmail.com. Where a trip is operated by a partner company, we will identify that company and explain our role, the applicable booking terms and who receives your payment before you book. What your tour includes Your tour description and booking confirmation explain the dates, accommodation, room arrangement, included services, price and payment schedule. Please check these carefully. Flights, ferries, motorcycle hire, meals, fuel, entrance fees and other expenses are included only where expressly stated. Special requests are not guaranteed unless we confirm them in writing. Please discuss any essential accessibility or dietary arrangements with us before booking. Our responsibilities We will organise and deliver the services we have agreed to provide with reasonable care and skill, give you joining information and a contact for assistance, and address problems brought to our attention. Using hotels, transport companies or other suppliers does not remove any responsibility we have under applicable law. Your responsibilities Riders must hold a valid licence for the motorcycle and countries concerned. You are responsible for ensuring your motorcycle is roadworthy, legally compliant and appropriately insured, with breakdown and recovery cover suitable for the trip. You must arrange the travel documents and insurance required for your circumstances and destination, including any licence or insurance conditions applying to a hire motorcycle. You must obey local road laws, ride within your ability and the conditions, maintain safe distances and wear appropriate protective equipment. Never follow another rider through an unsafe manoeuvre or feel obliged to keep up. Tell us promptly if you cannot safely continue riding. Riding while impaired by alcohol or drugs, dangerous riding, harassment and abusive behaviour are unacceptable. We may stop someone taking part in a riding activity where reasonably necessary for safety. We will explain our decision and discuss practical arrangements. Any financial consequences will be assessed fairly and in accordance with your legal rights. Changes and cancellation by us Routes and timings may need reasonable adjustments because of weather, road closures, safety or other practical circumstances. If a significant change affects your agreed tour arrangements, we will explain it promptly and provide the choices and remedies required by law. A general right to adjust a route does not allow us to remove substantial included services without an appropriate remedy. If we cancel your tour before departure, other than because of a justified customer breach, we will offer a refund of payments made to us for that tour. You may choose an alternative if offered, but do not have to accept a credit. Any additional rights to compensation remain unaffected. Problems and complaints Please tell Judy or the named tour contact as soon as a problem arises so we have an opportunity to resolve it. Unresolved complaints can be emailed to CharlieFarleysBikeTours@gmail.com with your booking reference and details. We will investigate and respond without unreasonable delay.

Liability and your rights Motorcycling involves risks, but participation does not waive your legal rights. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Photography and communication Promotional photo and video use follows each traveller’s separate permission choices. Refusing permission does not affect your booking. WhatsApp groups are optional.
