Fly into Palermo and make your way to our beautiful pink house overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, just 3 mins walk away and right outside the little Sicilian town of Sciacca.

Fresh Sicilian lemonade for breakfast, dinners on the terrace and sunsets over the sea - you’ll quickly relax into the pace of this magical island.

The next day we pick up our scooters and start exploring. Hot spa caves, mediaeval hilltop towns, fortresses and towers, Greek and Roman architecture, The Valley of the Temples, secluded beaches and cobbled streets… Sicily welcomes you.

Join the craic at the NW200 Road Races the BEST road racing you’ll witness !! Staying in a beautifully appointed home a stone’s throw from the NW200 race circuit and with Grandstand seats at Metropole we wont miss a thing! There are a host of restaurants and bars close by in Portrush, the beach and the golf club. Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Ballintoy Harbour and the fabulous Antrim Coast are close by also. There are boat rides, kayak hire and fishing trips if you fancy. With a private garden with private parking, bbq facilities and 4 double bedrooms/3 bathrooms this property provides all things necessary for a week at the iconic NW200 races!

We meet at Holyhead Monday 3rd for our ferry at 0930hrs - arriving in Dublin at 1230hrs, giving is plenty tome to ride up to Portrush and our accommodation.

Wednesday we explore the Giants Causeway or pop in at Joey Dunlops Bar before race practice in the evening. Thursday maybe a tootle out to Carrick a Rede Rope Bridge and lunch before evening racing. Friday we ride over to Mallin Head the most northerly point of the Wild Atlantic Way. Saturday is RACE DAY which we can enjoy from the Grandstand at the perfectly situated Metropole - or wander around areas of the circuit which are open to the public. Celebrations or Commiserations on Saturday night with a BBQ maybe.

Sunday our ferry leaves at 1330hrs from Dublin to bring us back to Holyhead.

This is the North Coast 500 on steroids as we circumnavigate the awe inspiring northern coast roads, hopping across to the islands of Bute, Jura and Islay to decipher and taste the liquid gold that is Scottish whisky.

We begin our journey from Matlock Bath, biking Mecca and taste some of their own local nectar during our ‘Get to know each other’ dinner on our first night.

Our journey takes us to overnights in Clydebank where Scotland’s first commercial whisky distillery was established. Auchentoshen distillery is where we visit on the banks of the Clyde - another lowlands whisky that has a global following due to the fact they distil their whisky 3 times for a clarity that many others cant duplicate. Ferry to Bute and on to Tarbert to stay at the 4* Stonefield Castle built in 1837 and their whisky bar! Jura our next stop and then a ferry to Islay where we have two days to explore and visit the 8+ distilleries in the area !! On to Oban and the smallest distillery in Scotland right in the town. Northbound we pass the Glenfinnen Viaduct and through Glencoe to arrive at Gairloch Hunting Lodge with the Badachro distillery just around the corner! Marvel at the ruggedness of the most northerly coast roads - in contrast to the smooth whiskies of the highlands. Borgie Lodge - my own old hunting ground welcomes us for a night in luxury before we ride on to John O’Groats to get ‘that’ photograph.

If Wolf distillery at Thurso is open - we are DEF popping in there to say Hello ! I will relay the story over a post dinner whisky one night !

Dornoch next and we stay two nights so that we can visit a Fairytale castle and the well known Glenmorangie distillery, or pop in to The Whisky Bar at Dornoch Hotel.

We ride over the Forth Road Bridge (the newest one) and we can see all the bridges as we cross. Edinburgh is our home for two days as it is an historical, cosmopolitan and still very Scottish place to find yourself in. Castles, churches, myths and folklore all sit with modern galleries and artistic entities. At Leith docks - near the Royal Yacht Britannia - the first vertical distillery welcomes visitors.

We ride back to Matlock Bath on 24th May.

From witch trials to modern magic:- a motorcycle journey exploring the roots of feminine power and intuition.

Starting out at Matlock Bath not only a biking mecca but which (see what I did there?) has it’s own magic history - we ride up to Northumberland to our accommodation near Bamburgh castle with a hot tub and gym to boot!

The emphasis on this week is ‘self’ and looking at the history of women’s intuition and how it manifests and how it is perceived in social circles, historically and now.

The ‘dark’ side of life has always been an obsession to some and we will witness evidence of this as we ride through areas of Northumberland. Ancient stones and meeting places.

I want to take you to a ‘Wise Woman for a Day’ session in which we look at some of the traditions of the ‘wise woman’ and her oldest knowledge. We’ll learn the basics of inner balance, forage, herbalism and wellbeing - all in a physic garden filled with natural healing.

We will ride the disappearing causeway over to Holy Island and search for ‘hag stones’ on the beach and make necklaces from them - to guard from evil.

Alnwick Castle has a garden filled with potent and poisonous plants in which we are invited to attend a walk and talk and find out about magic

We are taking a select group of riders on a journey from the white marble of the Taj Mahal straight into the raw high altitude wilderness of the northern India Himalayas.

Arrive in India and marvel at the Taj Mahal then fly north to Manali to bond with your bike to tackle the World-famous Manali to Leh highway with high passes, river crossings and incredible scenery that will literally take your breath away! Mountains and Monasteries abound - Umling La, Tanglang La, Baralacha La - the passes keep coming.

Onwards through the rugged, yet irresistible, landscape to Pangong lake with it’s icy blue hues, the Hunder sand dunes and and Mughal gardens. This tour will not disappoint ….

We are working alongside known tour adventurers as my scouts were with them last year and these guys know the culture, they know the land inside out and they are taking into the remote valleys of Northern India not far from Tibet to clear our heads, marvel at life and come ALIVE again through getting on that bike !!

With the Luck of the Irish we begin our adventure in Holyhead, Anglesey to catch the ferry to Dublin. Once there we point or bikes south to ride through the beautiful Wicklow Mountains and make our way to Blarney - with the obligatory opportunity to pucker up at the famous Blarney stone!

From there we head west and pick up some of the spectacular Wild Atlantic Way . Mizen Head, the Healy Pass, Ring of Kerry, Moll’s Gap, Dingle Peninsula and Conor Pass are just some of the roads and places we’ll experience along the way.

We continue north through Bunratty and into Connemara, taking in the Killary Fjord and some of Ireland’s incredible west-coast scenery before heading towards Achill Island, Sligo and eventually Malin Head - the most northerly point of Ireland.

Then it’s on to Portstewart for two nights, giving us time to explore the area and of course have a blast round the legendary NW200 road race circuit!

From there we have the opportunity to visit the Giants Causeway, Carrick-a Rede Rope Bridge and Dunluce Castle (for Game of Throne fans), before swinging southbound towards Dublin with a stop overnight at the pretty village of Carlingford.

Our final day takes us to Dublin where we’ll catch the ferry home after two weeks and around 1500 miles of riding around Ireland.

I’ve deliberately planned dates so that those of you who work can do the whole adventure with two weeks off - and still get home with a day rest before returning to reality.
