NW200 ROAD RACES – FULL ITINERARY 10–16 May 2027

Six nights in Portrush!

Join the craic at the iconic North West 200! Racing, coastal rides and evenings together—all from our beautifully appointed home close to the circuit.

Our Portrush base has four double bedrooms, three bathrooms, a private garden, parking and barbecue facilities. Restaurants, bars and the beach are nearby, with our Metropole Grandstand seats perfectly placed for the racing action.

MONDAY 10 MAY – LET’S GO!

Meet at Holyhead, Anglesey, for our planned 09:30 ferry to Dublin, arriving around 12:30. We’ll enjoy a leisurely ride north to Portrush, arriving early evening to unpack and settle in. Ferry timings are subject to confirmation.

TUESDAY 11 MAY – PRACTICE DAY

Our first taste of the NW200 action! Watch the riders get to grips with the famous Triangle circuit and soak up the atmosphere.

WEDNESDAY 12 MAY – EXPLORE THE NORTH COAST

A day to enjoy the Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle or Ballintoy Harbour, with the option of a visit to Joey’s Bar in Ballymoney. Beautiful roads, sea views and plenty of time for a tootle!

THURSDAY 13 MAY – PRACTICE & EVENING RACING

Today centres on the morning practice and evening races. We’ll plan any outings around the road closures so we’re back for the action.

FRIDAY 14 MAY – MALIN HEAD & DONEGAL

Weather and the race programme permitting, we’ll ride into Donegal to Malin Head—Ireland’s northernmost point—and enjoy a taste of the Wild Atlantic Way. Friday may be used for contingency racing, so we’ll keep this outing flexible. SATURDAY 15 MAY – RACE DAY!

Enjoy the main event from our Metropole Grandstand seats: spectacular road racing and a day to remember! Our final evening in Portrush might mean a barbecue in the garden and a few sundowners together.

SUNDAY 16 MAY – HOMEWARD BOUND

We ride back to Dublin for our return ferry to Holyhead, taking home six nights’ worth of racing, riding and great memories.
